I would mix this into the room instead of confining it to a bookshelf. Stack it beneath a smaller object when you need height, leave it open on a table when appropriate, or mix stacked and upright books on shelving. Let it still feel like something meant to be enjoyed, not merely a styling prop.

Do not buy books only to match a color palette. The most beautiful stacks include books you actually enjoy. The room becomes more personal when the titles mean something to you.
