Why I Love It
I love how one thoughtfully chosen pillow can change a seating area without changing the furniture. This one is an easy way to introduce another layer of color, pattern, or texture.
If I Were Styling It in Your Home
I would let this be either the pattern or the texture in the grouping, rather than surrounding it with several competing statements. Layer it slightly in front of a larger solid pillow, or use it alone on a chair. Look for one color in the pillow that already appears in your rug, artwork, or drapery; that small repetition is usually enough to make it belong.
A Little Designer Advice
If your sofa already has several patterns, I would replace one rather than add another. More pillows are not always more beautiful. Give the pattern you love enough quiet around it to actually be noticed.
